Our Teachers

At the French Centre teachers are chosen not only on the basis of their knowledge of the language, but their personality, their ability to empathise with the students as learners of a second language, and their ability to motivate students.

All our teachers speak impeccable standard French. They have a thorough knowledge of the language and are trained to explain things simply and clearly.

Our teachers are:

Julie Besnard

Julie comes from the magical city of Toulouse: du Sud-Ouest de la France, capitale de la région Midi-Pyrénée. She teaches French full-time, both at a famed Sydney private school and of course at the French Centre.

Céline Varin

Céline is from Paris where she grew up in the famous Quartier latin, on the Left Bank. She has extensive teaching experience not only in Australia but also abroad, and lends her lovely voice to the French Centre "practice" CDs.
